Why?

What possesses a family to pull up their 10 year old roots in Virginia and their 30-40 year old roots in the USA, sell their big house (well, put it on the market at least Sold!) and move to a two-bedroom apartment?

Paris.

Sometime back in early 2007, my wife (who works at the same company as I do) told me that her name was brought up at a meeting in Paris by her manager. That’s how I remember this whole adventure starting.

We need to record this, chronicle our adventures, I thought to myself. If not for our friends and family, at least for us. Especially our 3 year-old daughter. So here it is. Read on, if you dare….
